WOT!? Since when is this cat scaring method is now “worldwide”?
Really, are there other countries where they so dullable to think that arranging PET bottles of water will scare cats away from their building?
“Dullable” Yikes, that’s a wrong-but-so-true Freudian mistake for “gullable” hee, hee.
It is HUGE in Australia - even thought the myth has been disproved, there are still heaps of houses that put out these ugly bottles of water to deter the dogs and cats.. I think they just do it to annoy their neighbours or deter guests from visiting.
Gorgeous na. I had no idea what it was for, but as it looks so damned groovy, I have been arranging bottles like this around my apartment for the past 2 years. I have loads of PET bottles just brimming with plastic and hydro-cool all around my place and now I find it scares cats. My furry feline friends? I’ll be removing them immediately and maybe replacing them with handcrafted ornaments from the 100 yen store.
hi, everybody, i came here following links form “news on japan ” and i was really shocked to konw that people do that in other countries too. Im from Mexico and lots of people put plastic bottles filled with water because they think that it will scare dogs from pee on their doors or houses or cars, i have always think it was pretty dumb to do so, but now that i know that people in other countries do it too, maybe it has some true after all.
(nah, it does not work )
pd.- do people in other countries put bags filled of water hanging on their kitchens? in mexico some housewifes do it for scare fly out of the kitchen, but i dont know why but this one does work *really*
I’m from the UK and my mum has been using this method sucessfully for years in her garden. She puts them around flower and vegetable paches so that the cats will not take a dump in the plants.
