    This is such a simple activity. A magnet on the end of a wooden rod attracts the ‘worms’ inside the holes in the logs or tree stumps. Out comes the worm which is a series of little beads one of which also has a magnet. Ingenious, simple and effective to kep them busy for quite some time as they search for grubs in the holes in the logs. Barbara
