Not to worry. Children can get lessons in a subtle way from their parents about not being so taken in by marketing. Max is too young now, of course. Value for money is what they need to be taught. Not buy something because ‘everyone has it’. Barbara

Children soon learn what they like and don’t like Tracey, and it’s not always what’s popular or what everyone else has, so I wouldn’t worry. Like your Mum says, parents teach them the best lessons. K.
Problem has already started in the supermarket where they put the Anpanman lollies at eye level and there is a total meltdown if he doesn’t get it.
Fortunately they are small packs so I usually relent.
