Well the pie was yummy but the wine was very ordinary. Might use the wine in tonights dinner instead.

I had a brainwave! Olives! Im thinking kalamata olives, but you may have a different idea… Ive been eating Polenta Pie leftovers for a few days now and while its great the first night, its a bit bland the next day… olives would fix that and i will use them next time!
PS: i have a nother great polenta recipie if you are interested…Polenta with finely chopped cabbage in it, served with mushrooms in balsamic herb sauce….
We (and by we I mean Ash) made a tomato paste salsa type spread that we topped the leftovers with. We thought the first night it didn’t have enough tomato so he made a rich tomato sauce. It was fantastic.
