First time for this little Aussie chick in this quasi Australian restaurant. Huge servings of things called ripper shrimp. We laughed our arses off.
Lots of aussie wine though.

So, did you have for desert, the ‘Chocolate Thunder from Down Under(tm)’?
Did the Australian menu have any authentic fare like “slippery bob” of kangaroo brains mixed with flour and water then fried in emu fat…or maybe boiled bandicoot and black swan? I hear those those baby cygnets are particularly tender.
Nah - skipped the dessert but the wording in the menu cracked us up.
