Hand sewn for the goodie bags at the Australia Day Ball. We made 414 of these eco friendly chopstick bags.  Took days and days and days.  I am pleased to have finished.  So is the Ashman I think.  He has been left to cook while I have been chained to the sewing machine and then roped in to help roll them up and stick the labels on them,  Thanks babe!!

Pattern created by MediaTinker based on an idea from our friend Ellie.

What a wonderful eco-idea. We often have said that we need to take our “hashi"s with us. You have done it, not just talked about it. Good on you! Love, Mum

Actually they look pretty good all finished and rolled up with the meishi attached. They turned out well. Was a fantastic team effort from the pattern to the idea to the meishi and the sewing.

Delivered safely to the hotel today. Phew.  Tick off that jobbie.
