    Poi is the twirling spinning balls on the end of a rope - a traditional maori thing but it seems to have been adopted by hippies world wide (which promted my cliche comment) but it is really pretty.

    Fire poi is amazing though and takes an amazing amount of skill and practice. See Ashley’s flickr for some photos of Luke’s fire juggling and twirling.
