    Choose can of plain bread. 2 x puncture holes in top of can. Pour 2 - 3 dessert spoons of melted butter through holes & roll around. Place can on gas-type burner & heat until you think contents toasted (around 1-2 minutes). Remove can from heat, open, enjoy contents.
    Worked for me in a funny country I once visited.
