Stuck in the sticks in Matsumoto due to the lack of any transport out of this hick town after 8:30pm. This is the first time the Japanese transportation system has let us down. But then again I should have checked the times for the last train. Live and learn.
So the Ashman and I have checked into a hotel until the morning.

    We tried Bus, Train, Shinkansen, Local trains and even car rental.  Nada.  But we had a romantic night in a reasonable hotel that included breakfast.  So it was not a night in a train station or anything else gross.
